Lessons in Dance – Class Information
Group classes are a fun and inexpensive way to get a solid foundation in any dance. Learn proper lead-follow technique in a social setting while mastering the art of dance.

Monday nights June 1st through June 29th
West Coast Swing Drop-in Class and Practice Session (7:00 -8:30 pm)
This class is designed for those that already know the basics of West Coast Swing and want to improve their dance. Please come to the session with a concept you would like to focus on. Whether you want to work on style, syncopations, or a pattern that you have been trying to perfect, we will work in part as a group with individual instruction dispersed through the session. Each one and a half hour session will be $10 per person or $15 per couple and will be held at the Meridian Senior Center located at 133 W. Broadway, Meridian.
Wednesday nights June 3rd through June 24th
Beyond Beginner West Coast Swing (7:00 - 8:00 pm)
This class is designed for those that have been exposed to the 6-count rhythm patterns of the dance. We will focus on adding 8-count rhythm patterns into the dance and learning how to interchange the two comfortably. Each class is $25 for the 4-week series or $8 per class and will be held at the Lessons in Dance Studio in Meridian.

Recommended footwear: preferably something
with leather soles but you can wear anything that will slide easily across a
floor. Rubber soles will inhibit your dancing. If you are having trouble moving
on the dance floor, evaluate your choice of shoes.

Jennifer Babione has a pair of Supadance Ladies Practice shoe, style 1026, US size 6.5 for sale. I have worn these shoes about 4 times, and they do not fit me correctly.
